This year Rhinoa is hosting her very first challenge..introducing us to the intriguing and creative world of manga! I am quite new to graphic novels in general, yet enjoy the odd anime movie now and then, so will take this opportunity to try out a few manga novels.
The rules are to read at least 6 manga novels in 2009 (cross overs with other challenges are fine as is reading more than 6!). Sign up with Mister Linky on the challenge page and keep your eye on Rhinoa's blog for a challenge post each month with a Mister Linky for your reviews. Books do not need to be selected in advance, just fill them in as you go if it's easier.
As I know very little about manga, I will be selecting books as I go, probably from perusing Rhinoa's collection! The Shakespeares look particularly interesting. Happy reading!

My husband is a huge manga and graphic novel reader and probably could have recommended a few for me, but I decided to pass on this challenge this time around. I do hope you do well with it and am looking forward to hearing your thoughts about what you read.
I'm happy you joined!I hope you get to read lots of cool new stuff. I have my own list ready to be ordered (just waiting to move in my new fab house!). I browsed the net looking for the most interesting manga published in English...I hope I made the right choices!
