Busy busy busy...

So, been away a while! I'm working on a manic environmental impact assessment, which is a little new to me, so I haven't really had the chance to have a break in a few weeks. Plus I've been crazy busy in the evenings, so my reading has really suffered too. But I did get to spend a weekend diving in an old quarry, albeit in 8 degree water with less than 2m visibility! It was gloriously sunny though which made up for it (see photo)! I'm hooked again and will be doing a lot more when I get back, though UK diving is certainly something to get used to!

In fact I've been so busy that I have missed my own one year blogiversary! So I'll be having a delayed little blog celebration in a month, as I'm off to the States on Monday (assuming my flights don't get cancelled due to swine flu!) for three weeks of travels, catching up with old friends and a spring wedding! This weekend will be frantic getting ready for the trip, catching a performance of Pride and Prejudice at a small local theatre, an early viewing of Coraline in 3D (not out here yet!) and seeing the wonderful Kate Rusby in concert. Just thinking about it wears me out!

So apologies to all for not commenting on your blogs recently. I have been trying to read them, (with some success) and will try and catch up on some reviews before I go. I hope you are all well and enjoy the rest of spring! I leave you all with some lovely english bluebells as seen at Blickling Hall last Friday. If that doesn't make you love spring...I don't know what will!

Enjoy all of your activities! And I do hope you are able to go on your trip to the states. It would be a shame if the current scare ruins that!

me jealous of your travelling around!
I'm not sure I would have ventured into diving with 2m visibility, but it sure sounds adventurous!!
I'm loving spring, even though I could do with a bit more sunshine! Thanks for those lovely pics.
Also, your new job sounds really interesting, please tell us more about it sometimes.
Happy blogiversary!!

Wow!!! Beautiful pictures!!! Wish I'd taken those.. :)
Thanks for the great question for this week's BTT! All this while, I thought that it's only me who've been a big-spender yet still having piles of TBR. Now I'm relieved..
Have a great day! I love your blog! Take care..

Hi everyone, I'm back. Thanks for your comments!

Kim - My trip was great and aside from a few jokes, I heard very little about it.

Melody - Thanks, it is such a beautiful house though, these pictures do not so it justice.

Rhinoa - Cheers lass, you know I love bluebells!

Nymeth - Thanks, was fabulous. I shall post all about it!

Ladytink - I would certainly rather be busy than bored, so I can't complain!

Naida - Thanks! I loved them so much I just had to share.

Darla - Such a great trip, though I'm even more tired now!

Valentina - Thanks! It was quite an experience diving in the cove I can tell you! It has been gloriously sunny here all week, I think summer has arrived!

JonJon - I didn't even realise my BTT was up until I got back! I'm so glad we are all as bad as each other with book buying! Thanks for stopping by.

Tanabata - Thanks. I owe you a good photo after all the fabulous ones you post on your blog! Holiday was wonderful, I'm really hitting the post-holiday blues right now!
