Library Loot

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
Twilight (audiobook)
My Swordhand is Singing - Marcus Sedgwick
Leviathan - Philip Hoare
Inkspell - Cornelia Funke
How I Live Now - Meg Rosoff
Graceling - Kristin Cashore
Dream Angus - Alexander McCall Smith

I tend to borrow one or two books every couple of weeks from the library, just to satisfy my craving for introducing new books into my home, as I'm still adhering to my book buying ban. This week's is the largest booty I have returned home with, most due to the Once Upon a Time challenge, and other recommendations from bloggers. I've already started on Inkspell!

Good haul! I am waiting for Graceling and My Swordhand is Singing to come in for me at the library. I read How I Live Now last year and I really liked it!

Happy reading!

Oh, I had never seen that cover of Perks, but I like it a lot. And Dream Angus is my favourite book in the Canonagte Myth Series so far. Enjoy your loot!

I have to agree with everyone else. The cover of Perks is very cool.

(It is also one of my all time favorite books, so I'm probably biased).

Twilight is a good book and I just picked up Inkspell myself.

Kailana - Maybe we can compare notes then!

Nymeth - I'm excited about the Canongate Myths. New ones seeem to sneak out when I'm not looking!

Naida - I've not heard great things about the audiobook of Twilight, but I'll give it a go!

Nymeth, Literary Feline, Christina, Melody - I much prefer this cover, I assume it is the UK edition only?

Rhinoa - I was a bit greedy! Haven't started twilight yet, think I need a long car journey to get going!

Eva - Yep, whales and books, two of my favourite things!

Ladytink - I hope you like Inkspell, I'm hooked already!

I have the same relationship with libraries. Since I can't buy any more books I enjoy browsing libraries, and I always end up one or two books out! Oh the lure of new books...

Isn't the new cover or The Perks awesome? I love it.

Valentina - I have totally exchanged one vice for another, but at least this one is a lot cheaper!! I'm very lucky too in that we have a really nice modern, airy library and its really well-stocked.

I love this cover too.
