Cherry on Top Award

Thank you so much to the lovely Cannwin and Jennifer of the Literary Soundtrack for giving me the Cherry on Top Award! That really made me smile :)

Here's how it works:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award.
2. Copy award and put it in your blog.
3. List three things that you love about yourself.
  • My curly hair - its a nightmare sometimes, but I wouldn't change it!
  • My home - it needs work and has created quite a headache over the 6 months since I bought it, but it's mine to make as I wish and I'm happy that I was brave (and lucky) enough to take the leap, and thankful for the help I have had.
  • My experiences - although there are many things I still want to do and places I want to see, I am happy that I have done so much with my life already.
4. Post a photo that you love.
I took this picture of Dunottar Castle in Scotland back in 2006, and it has stayed with me as one of my favourite examples of what I love about Britain.

5. Tag 5 people you would like to pass this award on to.

Thanks you guys :)

Congrats on the award, and you're so sweet to pass it along to me! Three things I love about me:
1. My intelligence...it sounds kind of cocky just saying it out loud like that, but I love exploring new topics and academic because it all comes naturally to me.
2. My eyes: they can be blue or green or grey depending on what I wear which is great fun!
3. My sense of style and my closet. :)

Awe, thank you! I joine everyone else in marvelling at the castle, too. I wish we had stuff like that here.

I love your photo of the castle too, Mariel. It is a gorgeous shot. I wish we could scan our pictures from when we lived in York, but we need a new scanner first.

Congratulations on your award, and buying your first home!!!

I wonder if there is such a thing as enough travelling? I still want to go places, even though I have seen and been so many places already.

Thank you! I feel embarassed that it's taken me nearly a month to see this, but thank you still!
