I have been rather absent from my blog lately due to being so ridiculously busy and now I seem to have developed the black plague, as kindly donated by my housemate. We have however, been graced with a gentle sprinkling of snow in Norfolk, a bit earlier than usual, and although it is all gone now (replaced by cloud and rain), I thought you might like to see some photographs of Foxley Wood, an ancient patch of protected woodland that is even mentioned in the Domesday Book. Thorn and birch covered in a thin layer of frost and snow, winking in the sun, gnarly old trees covered in moss and the holly in full bloom. A very refreshing walk, though a little muddy!
