So I succumbed. I tried to be a reviewer who dealt only in whole numbers, but I have caved! Why is it that some of my reviews have to be ..and a half?! Why can I not commit?!!
Phew. So I may have gone back and changed a few review ratings here or there...for consistency's sake of course!

I tried to stick to whole numbers last year and ended up giving up that notion after a few months. I haven't defined the half ratings as I did the whole numbers like you have though. I love your rating system, by the way. Very creative.
I love your rating system as well. Especially this one:
3 1/2 - realising that there's IS one more maltesar
lol :D
I for one like the halves because we get more fun descriptions ;) And you need them to be honest...sometimes a bit deserves just a tad bit more than a 2 but is nowhere near a 3, so it needs that 2 1/2 I'm horrible at actually giving a rating, so I just don't do it :p But it helps quite a bit when people do!
I love your rating descriptions:) very effective!
for number 4...today I've tasted ben&jerry vanilla toffe crunch, you might want to consider that too. So yummi!
I like your ratings descriptions too! I only use whole numbers, because I use the keyboard astericks, and they don't divide. hehe But my rating system is pretty arbitrary-I just don't worry about it!
I gasped so loudly in delight at your four rating equivalent that my husband looked up all startled from his laptop and said, "What the hell?" But Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream! That would be a five from me! Then I'd have to shuffle a few other things around. But what a great rating system!
Thanks! Funny how the most popular ratings involve chocolate!
I've amended number 5, so now its even better! Everything in life should involve chocolate!
I do rate all my reads, but I don't put them on my posts anymore. I wonder if people want them.
